A true Tasmanian artisan, Gene first approached The van Diemen Project as he was looking for assistance to improve his website, as well as his general approach and representation to seeking new opportunities with partnerships, tender applications and future work.
We worked with Gene to develop an official portfolio for networking and tender applications, as well as revising his bio to properly represent his skillset and expertise.
As part of the website audit, opportunities were identified to enhance the overall design, user experience, and search engine optimisation data to reach new markets online.
Gene’s portfolio is now completed, and he is using this for expanding his network. Additionally, he has been contacted by a prominent Hobart hotel for commission work, and he is a finalist for the Mudgee “sculpture in the garden” art prize.
