Backing Tasmanian Small Businesses

We know that the digital world is changing everything in business – and we are here to help make the most of the opportunity for your Tasmanian business. Recognised as a leader nationally in the way we help, support, advice and encourage small businesses in regional Australia, The van Diemen Project is proud to coordinate and help deliver this program across Tasmania, providing webinars, business advice, one-on-one mentoring and much more.

The Digital Solutions – Australian Small Business Advisory Services are supported by the Australian Government.

No matter what topic you are wanting to learn about – whether it is getting your website refined with search engine optimisation assistance, using artificial intelligence in your business, social media marketing, protecting yourself and your data online and everything in between – we have the skills across our network to help. With mentors based across Tasmania with experience in running their own small business, through the Digital Solutions program, Tasmanians will not only learn about the tips but importantly how you can take their advice and put it into place straight away.

“I have been able to gain valuable knowledge to grow my small business, that I would have never known. While I’m passionate about my products, I have no idea how to get my business started. The dedicated time, support & knowledge has been highly appreciated and will be the foundation of supporting my family financially in my business.”

“You have been a great help in guiding me through deciding what is important to me in setting up my part time business and giving tips on pricing, marketing, and establishing connections. The process was very gentle, encouraging and validating.”

“Recently mentored by four team members, my business plan has taken shape and my website now ranks on the first page of Google, which is essential when approximately 75% of purchases are made from the first page of search results. Everyone is friendly, professional and you can see just how invested they are in helping local Tasmanian businesses succeed.”
